Transforming Our Working Culture by Being Like God

The cultural mandate calls man—the image of God—to perform tasks related to the earth. Pastor Mbewe helpfully reminds us that these tasks match with those that God performs in his interaction with his own creation namely: creating, preserving, governing and filling. As these tasks relate to man, they will involve begetting, raising and sending out culture makers into every corner of God’s creation, who will employ their innate and acquired skills to develop the potentialities “hidden” in the earth.
