About Us
AXIS MINISTRIES exists to BUILD UP and SEND OUT the local church to unreached peoples and places so that the Glory of God might be declared and displayed among the nations through biblically faithful proclamation of the Gospel and through the planting of churches.
Our Context
Niger is one of the most spiritually lost countries in the world. Of the 25 million people who live in this predominantly Muslim country, only 0.2% profess Christianity. In terms of percentage of population, Niger is the 11th least-reached nation in the world, and the least-reached country in sub-Saharan Africa. Beyond this overwhelming lostness, there is crushing poverty and a growing threat of jihadist terrorism.
Niger is a dark, difficult and dangerous place. And yet even in this darkness, the light of Christ shines brightly!

Our Strategy
FOR HIS GLORY
God’s glory is our motivation for all things. We are not motivated by worldly definitions of success, speed or power but by a desire for God to be glorified in all that we do. We cannot control the results: we only sow the seed, it is God who gives the growth.
THROUGH HIS CHURCH
We believe the local church (not individuals) have been entrusted with the task of carrying the Gospel and making disciples of all nations. Therefore, we will concentrate our work on helping churches become healthy through sound doctrine and theologically (not experientially) informed practices.
TO ALL PEOPLES
Our desire is that the Gospel would go to unreached peoples and places where it has never been so that churches might be planted among all tribes.
Our philosophy of ministry can be summarized by the statement:
Our THEOLOGY informs our ECCLESIOLOGY which drives our MISSIOLOGY
Through biblical resources, practical training and the forming of international networks, our desire is to:
BUILD UP the local church
SEND OUT trained leaders
RAISE UP the next generation
REACH out to the hurting
